We are looking for an ambitious web developer to join our highly creative, energetic and bold team. You’ll be working closely with our team of analogue and digital designers to create exciting digital experiences for our clients’ audiences. At Digitronix, no two client projects are ever the same, and we have a philosophy to continually raise the bar. We work in exciting sectors from high-end automotive and housing through to place marketing,  higher education, sport and consumer lifestyle.

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new responsive websites. Some are big projects, and some are smaller, interactive micro sites. You will be responsible for translating our flat designs from applications such as Sketch and Photoshop, into fully responsive dynamic websites. Attention to detail is key and having an eye for design is equally important as you will be keen to have creative input during the design, especially from a UX and UI perspective. The ideal candidate will be a full stack developer, with a strong leaning towards front-end development. They will be passionate about development and excited to create exceptional interactive experiences. We’re looking for a person who wants to experiment, and is motivated to learn new technologies.

A lot of our legacy projects are built on a WordPress platform, so it will be important to have experience of this technology. We are keen on Java Script Frameworks such as react  and would favour individuals who have experience in this, or who are actively learning this technology.

Skill requirement

As a basic skill set, we require 3 years commercial experience of the following:

• HTML5
• CSS3 (SCSS)
• JavaScript
• jQuery
• PHP
• SQL
• WordPress
• Git
• Bootstrap, or experienced in alternate layout framework

You will have a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite as well as Sketch.

Some of the following skill sets would also be advantageous:
WebGL, React, React Native, Magento, Magento 2, WooCommerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SEO and Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Optimize, Hotjar, Bitbucket, Jira, Node.js / Express, InVision
